What to take

When you’re trekking through tricky terrain, it’s important to have a few essentials with you. It goes without saying that you’ll need your passport, trekking permits, and insurance details; these should be kept in a waterproof bag in an accessible place as the permits will be checked at various points along the trail.

  • Sleeping bag – anything from -30° to a -15° bag is sufficient
  • Warm jacket
  • Gloves
  • Worn-in hiking shoes
  • Toilet paper
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Camera
  • Sun cream, sunglasses and sun hat

  • Annapurna Circuit offers the most stunning views of the Annapurnas, Macchupucchre, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu. Trekkers are easily acclimatized as they traverse through a variety of landscapes, from fresh alpine valleys to arid peaks. This is a moderately difficult trail and lasts 14 days.
  • Manaslu Base Camp is a stunning trek that has incredible vistas of the peaks along the Nepal-Tibet border.
