The path emerges in the central Modi Khola valley and reaches Tolkha and continues towards Pothana and finally back to Pokhara.

Day 01 - Pokhara drive to Dhampus (1600m) Trek toLandruk (1620m)
Take a 1-hour drive to Dhampus; Dhampus is a small valley on the top of the ridge, more than 500m above. The area is inhabited by Brahmins, Chhetris, and a few Gurungs. Crossing the dirt road a couple of times and stone staircases make the trail more adventuring. The spectacular panoramic view of the Annapurna Himalayan range makes your overnight camping much higher.
The trail climbs to the rhododendron forest and passes to Pothana (1990m). The view of Machhapuchhare (6997m) is excellent from here, except that from this angle, it looks more like Matterhorn than a fishtail. The trail emerges in the central Modi Khola valley and reaches Tolkha (1790m). Beyond this, the path descends gently, crossing numerous streams and terraces continuing to Landruk, a beautiful Gurung village that provides an excellent view of the surrounding mountain ranges.
Day 02 - Landruk trek to Ghandruk (1940m)
You can see Ghandruk village high above on the opposite side of the river. Take the right path over a wooden bridge and past a hydroelectricity pipe beside a lovely waterfall. Ghandruk is the second largest Gurung village in Nepal. You can explore the maze-like streets of this thriving Gurung settlement.
Day 03 - Ghandruk trek to Tadapani (2540m): walking distance - 5 km
Today the trekking trail ascends steeply through rhododendron forests from Baise Kharka. You can encounter monkeys and a wide variety of birds. The left-hand path makes a short, steep ascent among rocks. The trail ascends steeply through the dense moss-covered forest with abundant birdlife to Tadapani, which also provides a close-up sunset view. Tadapani means ‘far water’, and the water supply is a long distance below the village.
Day 04 - Tadapani to Ghorepani (2775m): walking distance - 9.3 km
The trail ascends steeply through dense moss-covered rhododendron forest with abundant birdlife. We pass some small villages and walk alongside the Ghar Khola. It’s about 7-8 hours work up to Ghorepani.
Day 05 - : Ghorepani/Poon Hill to Tikhedhunga : walking distance - 11.8 km
Rise before dawn the following day to make the early-morning excursion to Poon Hill (3210m), one of the best Himalaya viewpoints in Nepal, provides an unobstructed view of sunrise over the high Himalayas. The spectacular panorama stretches from Dhaulagiri I, Annapurna and Machhapuchhare. Watching the beautiful sunrise is a defining moment with lots of pleasure and tranquility. The trail crosses two sparkling clear streams, a small ridge, and another stream before doing a short climb to Nangathanti (2460m). The unrelenting staircase continues to the large Magar village of Ulleri (2080m). After a short hiking, you will arrive at Tikhedunga. We spend the overnight at guest house.
Day 06 - Tikhedhunga / Nayapul to Pokhara (820m): walking distance - 9.6 km
Drop steadily up the side of the valley to reach Hille (1510m) and Sudame. Traverse high above the river on a full stone-paved trail to a large and prosperous town Birethanti (1000m). We continue our walk to Nayapul and catch a private vehicle to get to Pokhara. We had a beautiful night in Pokhara city. You can have some expedition over city streets.
