 Bardia National Park is a protected area in Nepal, established in 1988 as Royal Bardia National Park. Covering an area of 968 km2 (374 sqm).  it is the principal and for the whole wilderness region in Nepal’s Terai. Neighboring the eastern bank of the Karnali River in the Bardiya district. The other endangered species include gharial-crocodile, marsh mugger, and Gangetic dolphin. Endangered birds found in the park are Bengal florican, lesser florican, and sarus crane.

Karnali River Rafting:

An early morning 30 km drive by jeep will drop you by the Karnali River. Rafting is an great opportunities to sight the river birds, Asiatic gangetic dolphin, crocodiles, insects, three big animals and many more living in the river system as well as a great fishing in the river. Swimming is also possible and sometimes even the dolphins may join to your excitement.

Tharu village tour:

The jungle scenery, birds and animals alone do not make up the unique features of Bardia National Park. You will gain insight the indigenous Tharus, the ancient native people of the Bardia jungle.
