Annapurna Base Camp Trek Best Time to visit

Autumn and spring seasons are the best seasons to trek in the highest summit of the Annapurna region according to traditional history. September, October, and November Fall under autumn Season while March, April, and May falls under spring season. These seasons are considered best because of its modest temperature with sunny and warm weather favoring the trekker to capture stunning views. Each season has its peculiar characteristics to depict. Visitors can enjoy the different landscapes in each season. Summer or monsoon seasons (June to Aug) is boon for the botanists while it may be not much suitable for keen trekkers as erratic rainfall may occur any time of the day and can continue for many days. Besides, the attack of Leech can be disgusting and make the journey unfruitful.

Winter seasons (Dec, Jan, and Feb) are for those who want to enjoy their journey by themselves by avoiding the crowd. Moreover, this season is perfect for solo travelers. The prominent reason to travel in this season is that it offers bright mountains with no precipitation views as compared to another season. Additionally, the months of this season provides the visitor to celebrate different festivals and make them cherishable moment.

Annapurna base camp trek in December -February (winter)

If you want to experience a lifetime moments and want to be surrounded by snowy mountains under the crystal clear sky, then with no doubt, the winter season is perfect for you.  There is the fore say the fact that the winter season is not suitable for trekking due to its cold weather. However, it does not means the path is closed throughout the year.

Many challenge trekkers traveler enjoy this off-season trip engulfing the heavenly feeling being surrounded by the sparkling high mountains. The winter season is not much popular as other spring and autumn seasons for trekking in the Annapurna region. The places around the Annapurna region will also be icy as the temperature goes below 0C and can be as low as -10C. I am resisting most of the visitors to trek due to unfavorable weather conditions.

However, the adventure lover and the travel geek trek on this place by uprooting the obstacles. Moreover, for that traveler, the benefits outweigh the obstacles. The prior benefit for trekking at this time is transparent skies with no rainfall at all. Cheaper accommodation and less crowded trail are other attractive factors to travel at this time. Last but not least, the dazzling and wonderfully beautiful views of Eye-catching Mt Annapurna, Mt Dhaulagiri, and Mt Machhapuchhre portray the best’s aspects among all the seasons.
