The Eastern part of Nepal is an untamed frontier, rising to a sheer mountain wall that includes two of the tallest peaks on the earth. The must-see place of this trek is Kanchenjunga Conservation Area spread in an area of 2,035 sq Km. The area has a rich diversity of wildlife including snow leopard, Himalayan black bear, musk deer red panda and others as Impheyan, pheasant, red-billed blue magpies, shy drongo are the major birds found here. The Makalu-Barun National Park and Conservation Area takes up deep into the eastern Himalayas, a place of outstanding natural beauty and diversity in flora and fauna. The forests shelter abundant wildlife, including the endangered red panda and musk deer as well as the ghoral, Himalayan Tahr and leopard.
