Dhaulagiri I (8167 m), Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna South (7219 m), Machhapuchre (6993 m), Neel Giri (7061 m) and Hiunchuli (6441 m) are some the major mountains that are viewed from Mohare Danda hill station. The Trek to Mohare Danda starts from Pokhara with a short drive from Kathmandu. The trek includes places like Galeshwor, Bans Kharka, Naangi, Deaurali, Ghandruk village, Nayapul and so forth. While on trek you will be overwhelmed with the warm welcome of culturally rich Magar and Gurung communities and their distinct lifestyle. Also, we will be driving through the bank of Trishuli and Kali Gandi river. Day 01: - Arrival to Kathmandu Airport
We will be present there at the airport for your convenience to greet you and to transfer to your desired hotel. When you have had your time to settle in and freshen up after a long fight, you will be invited to visit our office for a briefing about your program. You will have a meeting with your trekking guide and discuss the equipment needed for the trekking. We will also process for the trekking permits. If you arrive at night we will have the same discussion in the next day morning, after your breakfast.
Day 02: - Flight or Drive to Pokhara, take a 25 minutes flight or 6-7 hour drive
After having your breakfast, we will drive you to the Domestic Airport to take a 25 minutes flight to Pokhara. During the short flight, you will have majestic views of glorious Manaslu Peaks, the snowcapped Annapurna, and Langtang Himalaya range. Alternatively, you can take a tourist bus to Pokhara (about 6-7 hours’ drive) via scenic Prithvi Highway, enjoying shortstops for lunch and breakfast and scenic beauty all the way around. Upon arrival at Pokhara, you will be transferred to the hotel, where you can enjoy your spare time at the lakeside. You can relax at the Phewa Lake, surrounded by the Annapurna Himalaya Range and visit Bindavasini Temple which is only accessible by boat.
Day 03: - Drive to Galeshwor and trek to Bans Kharka
Early in the morning we will freshen up and having our breakfast, we will head towards Galeshwor along the bank of Kali Gandaki river which may take about 3 to 4 hours of drive. After, we will trek to Bans Kharka by crossing the bridge of Kali Gandaki river. We will also be enjoying the green forest on our way. We will stay overnight there.
Day 04: - Trek to Naangi
After having our breakfast, we will be trekking to Naangi which is 6-7 hours of walk from Bans Kharka. With the view of the amazing village and panoramic mountains, we will visit the organic farm and the Magar community. Spend our night at community lodge.
Day 05: - Trek to Mohare Danda
Through the stunning forests of Rhododendron and oak viewing the mountains like Macchhapuchhre, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Tukche and so forth we will head towards Mohare Danda our destination of the trek. Besides, we will be witnessing the sunset view from Mohare Danda Hill station in the evening and spend our night in eco-management community lodge.
Day 06: - Trek to Deaurali
In the morning we will view the sunrise and the fresh mountains view like Macchapuchhre, Dhaulagiri I, II, Annapurna, Nilgiri and many more. Having our breakfast we will then trek towards the trails of Deaurali which is 4-5 hours of walk through Ghorepani from Mohare Danda. Stay overnight there.
Day 07: - Trek to Ghandruk village
The very next day after having our breakfast and walking for about 5 hours across the forests, cultivated lands and bridge of Khumnu Khola we will reach to the stunning village of Ghandruk. The place is amazing with the view of Annapurna, Gangapurna, Fishtail, and Hiunchuli. We will be spending our night in one of the hotels or lodges there.
Day 08: - Trek to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara
In the morning we will freshen up, have our breakfast and walk for about 5 hours to reach Nayapul. The trail is a bit steep or stony but provides the opportunity to experience the villages and farmlands. Crossing the Modi Khola, we then reach to Birethanti and walk for some hours to reach Nayapul. From Nayapul we will drive back to Pokhara and enjoy our night there.
Day 09: - Drive back to Kathmandu
You can take a fight or take a drive to Kathmandu. In the evening you can have your last night in Nepal enjoying the Nepali cultural dinner show, taking some beautiful snaps and making up your mind about the returning journey. You can have greetings exchanging among friends and with all Nepalese people.
Day 10: - Final Departure
