Contrary to common opinion, the Himalayas are not the only mountain range in this diversified nation. It is a place where there is much more to do than merely go trekking in the mountains. There are completely unrelated worlds waiting for you where you may find peace, joy, and freedom. And it’s not just the place that will draw you to return to Nepal time and time again; it’s also the people, their traditions, and the numerous festivals.

People are believed to first travel to Nepal for the beautiful scenery of the Himalayas, but they return time and again for the friendly people. How much variety should you actually anticipate from a single place? Expect that Nepal can give you an unforgettable reward for the money and time you have spent here. Nepal offers both adventure and luxurious comfort, depending on your preferences.

You can easily reach all of these areas from the Kathmandu valley’s cultural and historical center, Patan. It is an adventure in and of itself to live among ancient traditions, ancient art, and historic temples and palaces.

Things to know before you go for a Nepal Short Tour

As we all know, Nepal is renowned for its amazing mountain ranges, including Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world. Similarly, Nepal has experienced significant expansion in its tourism industry but is still a relatively undiscovered beauty. All kinds of travelers will find something to enjoy in Nepal. Even short tours are organized for people who want to see a lot in a short amount of time and explore more. Here we are sharing the things to know before you go on the Nepal Short Tour.

Visas

Visas are the first thing you need to know. in order to obtain a visa for Nepal upon arrival in Kathmandu. The cost of a single entry visa varies based on how long you want to stay. Although there is an ATM on site, payment must be made in cash upon arrival.

A SIM card

Getting a SIM card is the next thing you should know. Get a SIM card at the airport when you arrive in Nepal. NTC and NCELL are the two most often used SIM cards available in Nepal. You will require a copy of your passport, and airport staff members frequently assist you in setting one up. In Kathmandu, you can find one for less money, but they might be challenging to set up without assistance from a local translator.

The currency

The greatest item to use while you are here is the Nepalese rupee, which is the currency of Nepal. You can use Indian rupees if necessary, and some hotels and businesses take USD. However, if at all possible, we advise against using Indian rupees because some Indian currencies are forbidden in Nepal.

Don’t take illegal substances.

Of course, this is applicable anywhere you go, but Nepal was formerly known for being a popular destination for tourists to consume legalization. This is no longer the case. In Nepal, having narcotics, drugs, or any kind of medication that involves drugs in your hands carries a two-year prison term.

UNESCO Worlds heritage sites

The UNESCO sites are the next item to be aware of regarding Nepal. In spite of the fact that the 2015 earthquake severely damaged Nepal’s roads, residences, and historical landmarks, the UNESCO sites are still worth seeing. Even if you are in the country just to view Mount Everest, be sure to take the time to visit some of the many magnificent temples that are also present.

Mostly rely on filter or bottle water

Tap water is not filtered or purified. It may not be healthy to drink tap water. So everywhere you go, stick to the water bottle. Or you may just take the water purification pills to clean the water while you go through the mountains, where bottles of water are more expensive than in cities.

Eat food in the restaurants.

Eating in restaurants goes against our best money-saving advice, but we insist on doing it. Although we usually recommend it, you might want to avoid street food in Nepal. In Nepal, refrigeration is not very good. Additionally, Nepal’s streets are dustier than those in other nations. So even the most experienced travelers who enjoy eating might have issues with street food. Rather, eat at crowded, well-maintained eateries that provide traditional dishes.

 Conclusion

To protect oneself while on a Nepal short tour, one must consider a few factors, one of which is the weather.Nepal’s weather is quite erratic and changeable. You could have hot days and cold nights and mornings. Similar to that, you can encounter strong winds followed by unexpected rain. Likewise, there is a great likelihood of snowfall if you are trekking in a mountainous area, especially during the winter. Always check the weather forecast for the locations you will be visiting before you go. Accordingly, pack your belongings, clothing, gear, and equipment. Don’t over pack your backpack with unneeded items. Always be ready to cover difficult, lengthy distances on foot.

drinks a lot of water and eats high-energy foods that are readily available nearby. Your tour’s potential for pleasure and satisfaction may significantly change. Making an attempt to keep active while on tour also counts. By doing this, you may spend more time admiring the breathtaking sights and less time attempting to catch your breath.

The mountains you will visit will have varying weather conditions if you decide to go trekking on your Nepal Short Tour, but that is nature’s wonder. The food, lodging, and lifestyle are all completely different in the mountain areas as compared to the city areas. As a result, you must adapt accordingly.

So, if you’re trekking through rural areas, don’t anticipate receiving high-standard service. As you walk, you develop the ability to enjoy and adjust to various traveling situations. You will also learn how to do the same on your path through life as you travel. Choose the Nepal Short Tour to travel to Nepal and have a wonderful experience.
