You can easily reach these areas from the Kathmandu Valley’s cultural and historical center, Patan. It is an adventure in and of itself to live among ancient traditions, ancient art, and historic temples and palaces.

Things to know before you go for a Nepal Short Tour

As we all know, Nepal is well-known for its splendid mountain ranges, including Mount Everest. Everest is the highest mountain in the world. Similarly, Nepal has experienced significant expansion in its tourism industry. But it is still a relatively undiscovered beauty.

All kinds of travelers will find something to enjoy in Nepal. We even organize short tours for people who want to see a lot in a short amount of time and explore more. Here, we are sharing what to know before you go on the Nepal Short Tour.

Visas

Visas are the first thing you need to know. You can obtain a visa for Nepal upon arrival in Kathmandu. The cost of a single entry visa varies based on how long you want to stay. Although an ATM is on-site, you must pay in cash upon arrival.

A SIM card

Getting a SIM card is the next thing you should know. Get a SIM card at the airport when you arrive in Nepal. NTC and NCELL are Nepal’s two most often used SIM cards. You will need a copy of your passport, and airport staff members frequently assist you in setting one up. In Kathmandu, you can find one for less money. Yet, it might be challenging to set up without help from a local translator.

The currency

The most significant item to use while you are here is the Nepalese rupee, Nepal’s currency. You can use Indian rupees if necessary, and some hotels and businesses take USD. But, if possible, we advise against using Indian rupees. Nepal forbids some Indian currencies.

Don’t take illegal substances.

Of course, this applies anywhere you go. Nepal was formerly known as a popular destination for tourists to consume legalization. It is no longer the case. In Nepal, having narcotics, drugs, or any medication that involves drugs in your hands carries a two-year prison term.

UNESCO World Heritage sites

The UNESCO sites are the following items to be aware of regarding Nepal. The 2015 earthquake severely damaged Nepal’s roads, residences, and historical landmarks. Though damaged, the UNESCO sites are still worth seeing. Suppose you are in the country to view Mount Everest. Be sure to take the time to visit some of the many magnificent temples that are also present.

Mainly rely on filters or bottled water.

Tap water is not filtered or purified. It may not be healthy to drink tap water. So, everywhere you go, stick to the water bottle. Or you may take water purification pills to clean the water through the mountains. Their water bottles are more expensive than in cities.

Eat food in the restaurants.

Eating in restaurants goes against our best money-saving advice, but we insist on doing it. Although we recommend it, you should avoid street food in Nepal. In Nepal, refrigeration could be better. Additionally, Nepal’s streets are dustier than those in other nations.

So, even the most experienced travelers who enjoy eating might need help with street food. Instead, eat at crowded, well-maintained eateries that provide traditional dishes.

Conclusion

To protect oneself while on a Nepal short tour, one must consider a few factors, one of which is the weather. Nepal’s weather is quite erratic and changeable. You could have hot days and cold nights and mornings. Similar to that, you can encounter strong winds followed by unexpected rain.

Likewise, snowfall is likely when trekking in a mountainous area, especially in winter. Always check the weather forecast for the locations you visit before you go. Accordingly, pack your belongings, clothing, gear, and equipment in the Nepal short tour. Make sure to pack your backpack with all the necessary items.

Always be ready to cover difficult, lengthy distances on foot. Drink a lot of water on your Nepal tour and eat high-energy foods readily available nearby. Your Nepal short tour potential for pleasure and satisfaction may significantly change. Attempting to keep active while on tour also counts.

By doing this, you may spend more time admiring the breathtaking sights. You may need less time trying to catch your breath. When trekking on your Nepal Short Tour, the mountains you visit have varying weather conditions. But that is nature’s wonder. The food, lodging, and lifestyle are all completely different in the mountain areas compared to the city.

As a result, you must adapt accordingly. So, when trekking via rural areas, expect to receive something other than high-standard service. As you walk, you develop the ability to enjoy and adjust to various traveling situations. You will also learn how to do the same on your path through life as you travel. Choose the Nepal Short Tour to travel to Nepal and have a wonderful experience.

I booked a Nepal short tour with Mr. Puru for a 6-day visit to Nepal. The driver, Hari, was superb as we drove with him for six days. All the arrangements from the tour’s beginning to end were excellent and stress-free.

The guides provided in all three cities (Kathmandu, Chitwan, Bandipur) were very knowledgeable. The guide in Pokhara was especially excellent. Mr. Puru took great care as he called and emailed to ensure our tour went smoothly.

He even changed our hotel in Kathmandu on our last day as we wanted something different from the previous hotel. He treated me to dinner on our last night in Kathmandu, which I thought was very sweet. I recommend this tour company to anyone visiting Nepal.

We are not trekkers and were looking for a private short tour of Nepal. Mr. Puru, the company’s owner, devised an itinerary for a week’s travel to Nepal. The price included transfers, hotels, breakfast, car and driver, and sightseeing tours with a local guide in each location.

The price was less than one would pay for a group tour. I recommend his company to trekkers and non-trekkers alike. He was personally available to us for questions and to ensure we were satisfied. The personal service and the quality of the guides and the driver were even better than we expected.

Our driver was cautious — a rarity in Nepal. He did not frighten us with his driving. If you have been on the highways in India and Nepal, you know how important this is. Since it was a private tour, the guides adjusted what we saw to our interests and stamina.

We spent time in Kathmandu, Bandipur, and Pokhara. We saw a lot of animals, many fantastic old temples, and a couple of cultural dance shows. When we arrived, Mr. Puru suggested we make one change and fly back from Pokhara to Kathmandu. It was a great suggestion– listen to his advice.
