Trip Overview of Poon Hill Hot Spring Trek

Poonhill Hot Spring Trek is comparatively an easy walk that winds through Gurung villages and dense Rhododendron forest and also offers one of the best Himalayan viewpoints. Annapurna Poonhill Hot Spring trekking is organized in the village of Ghorepani and Tatopani which are famous for the stunning closest view of snowcapped peaks. Tatopani offers you the relaxing and amusing time bathing in natural hot spring water. Ghorepani hot spring trek presents Dhaulagiri (8,167m) and Annapurna (8,091m) Fishtail (6997m) Annapurna South, Himchuli and other famous mountains amazingly. The best time to visit hot spring trekking is between the autumn and spring seasons when rows of the Himalayan Mountain peaks gets covered by a blanket of impeccable white snow.

Poonhill hot spring treks begin at Nayapul with about one hour drive from beautiful Pokhara or a flight from Kathmandu. The Annapurna hot spring trekking continues from Nayapul and towards Tikhedunga. We have gentle climb through pasture and cultivated fields to the extremely beautiful and friendly village Ghorepani. This village presents hospitality you’ll never forget. Very friendly ethnic group’s people with traditional lifestyle and custom are certainly going to make your trip the best one. The Poonhill trek passes through beautiful Gurung village’s outstanding landscape and the variety of flora and fauna. You can study the Gurung culture, tradition, and their living style.

You will overview the grand South Annapurna (3210) from Ulleri village. Passing through Ghorepani village you bump into beautiful orchids, massive Himalayan bamboo, and dense Rhododendron forest. On the other hand, well-designed rice field over the entire slope gives you a memorable experience. A downhill walk to Ghinudanda through Tadapani Ghandruk will ultimately lead you to the natural hot water spring. Poon Hill Hot spring trek will show you Kathmandu Valley Culture and paradise city Pokhara and joyful Annapurna Himalayan Region of Nepal. Early sunrise over Ghorepani Jhinu hot spring trek is an unforgettable part of the trek that gradually appears, just like magic that your eye could not believe. The natural beauties reward you in your each & every footstep. After having long day trekking of Poonhill, by the evening you’ll be ready to experience the natural hot spring bath at Tatopani. We have a free day in Pokhara, so you can join the sightseeing tour that includes David’s fall, Mahendra cave, museum, boating in Phewa Lake and many more exciting activities. Ghorepani Poonhill hot spring trekking in Annapurna region is a short trek but quite enough to get enthralled with the natural heritage as well as intermingle with the local Gurung people and culture.
