One is from March to May, and the other is autumn, from September to November. You can also trek during different seasons, like monsoon season and winter. Each season has advantages and disadvantages. Here, we have listed all the pros and cons of trekking in all seasons.

Spring (March to May)

The weather is generally mild and stable during the spring. Along the trekking trail, blooming flowers and rhododendrons are visible. The daytime temperature is usually warm, with cool nights.

Trekking in the Himalayas of Nepal is very favorable. Yet, you should also note that the spring season is one of the busiest times for hiking in the Everest region. There is a large number of people on the trail.

Autumn (September to November)

The weather in the autumn season is quite like spring. It is usually dry and stable, with clear blue skies and comfortable temperatures. The scenery is particularly spectacular this season. Everest Tengboche Trek with Helicopter Return - Highly recommended

Where to start… What a fantastic place! You cannot fail to have your breath taken away on this Tengboche Monastery trek. Our experience was even better, given that we had already got on our flight out.

We had the assurance that everything was being taken care of for us. All our internal flights, permits, hotels, trekking guides, tours, everything! We can’t compliment the team at ‘Above The Himalayas’ enough.

On our trek, our guide, Shyam, was brilliant. He first negotiated through the chaos at Kathmandu airport. He ensured we got our flight.

No mean feature looked after us as if we were his own family. Nothing was too much trouble, and took time to answer all our questions. His wealth of knowledge and experience was nothing short of extraordinary.

Many thanks to him for making our trek more exciting and enjoyable.

We went on an Everest Tengboche Monastery Trek with Above The Himalayan Trekking.

From the moment they picked us up from the airport, we were well looked after. We felt very confident in Above The Himalayan Trekking.

Puru and our guide Dhurba answered all our questions and ensured we were well prepared. On the trek, I was happy with Dhurba’s area knowledge.

It surprised me how well he looked after us. He always ensured we were happy, comfortable, and well-fed.

We will be recommending AHT to our friends in Australia and New Zealand.
