“Sayaun Thunga Phool ka” was officially declared as the National Anthem of Nepal to celebrate the revolution against Monarchy. In 2007, on August 3, a ceremony was in the conference hall of the National Planning Commission, inside Singha Durbar. On that day, the speaker of the interim parliament, Mr. Subash Chandra Nemwang officially declared “Sayaun Thunga Phool ka” the national Anthem of Nepal.
