The Kathmandu Valley trek was excellent! It was very well organized. The Valley’s first day was a little tricky walking. Our guide was excellent and made many rust stops for us.

The food and the two hotels were good—the second Hotel’s food was better! The view was beautiful on the way, and we saw a lot. In particular, the mountain villages were super!!

My parents are older and were a lot slower. There were about a million stairs on the first day (it seems), but we all finally got there. In the morning, we had fantastic mountain views from Chisapani.

The food was excellent and delicious at the lodgings. Basu and Hem were our porters, and they were fantastic as well. They were always accommodating and very friendly.

Thank you for everything on our Kathmandu Valley trek. And see you on our next trip.

We had a great trek. Sam, the guide, was excellent and very patient with us all, especially my older parents, who were much slower.

The food was excellent and delicious at the lodgings. Basu and Hem were our porters, and they were fantastic as well. They were always accommodating and very friendly. We would recommend Sam, our excellent guide, and our porters to anyone else.

We had a great time and would thoroughly recommend the trek to anyone. As my parents (61 and 65 years old) say, if they can do it, anyone can. Our young children also managed exceptionally well on the trek.

Thank you very much for providing such a wonderful experience for us all. We enjoyed our time.

We recommend the Above the Himalayan Trekking company to anyone who wants to use them.

Mr. Puru was excellent to deal with and prompt with his replies and information. Thank you, Mr. Puru and your team.

From our arrival in Nepal to our departure, we were completely taken care of. Puru had everything organized for me, so I didn’t have any problems with the whole Kathmandu Valley trek.

I came with two other people, and we were supposed to do the Helambu trek. But one of the people in our group had to turn back, so the guide quickly arranged transport back to Kathmandu. I agreed, and we were able to change our trip to make up for the lost time.

Our porter, Baldhan, and guide, Sitaram, were the best part of the trip. They were knowledgeable about the routes and very friendly and accommodating.

The views were worth it. Although we only trekked through the local villages and foothills of the Himalayas, it was a fantastic experience. I recommend this agency, especially our porter and guide.

Thank you for the great Kathmandu Valley trek.
