Terms and conditions to book a trip for Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan. Above The Himalaya Trekking, (p) Ltd is a well-known Government Register Trekking Company in Nepal. We are trustworthy and fully committed to giving you the best service. We accept your bookings under the following terms and conditions.
While making your trip with us. We need your name and 20 % of the total amount of a non-refundable booking deposit. It needs for every trip booking per person of trip cost. The rest of the money can be paid upon arrival at our office. Full payment needs to pay before departure for the trip and for your last-minute booking. You can pay before a week the total amount of money as an advance.

the health and safety of our guests. Because we only operate Private groups and small tours with limited numbers, we will be able to incorporate regular cleaning and sanitizing into our daily routine. Each of our tour guides is using with Mask, disposable paper towels for single-use, hand sanitizers for guest use, as well as all of the latest emergency contact details. Due to our we generally do not visit enclose places where large numbers of people are gathering.

Bank service charges should be paid by the clients themselves at the time of deposit.
Also, the client can make a payment by credit card please click here and fill the form. For the payment by credit card, we only accept Master Card and Visa Card, and 4% extra will be paid by the clients themselves as a card processing fee.

Risk & Liabilities
We are committing to provide the best services which will give you once in a lifetime journey. Above The Himalaya Trekking (p) Ltd always puts all its efforts honestly and sincerely into making your journey smooth and pleasant. All the services will be provided as per the agreement between you and us at the time of booking. However, all Nepal, India, Tibet, and Bhutan tours are run are strictly under their policies and Tourism Authority.
Above the Himalaya Trekking (P.) Ltd or its agent shall not be responsible for any change or cancellation of programs due to unavoidable circumstance such as Government restriction, Landslide, road blockage, flood, avalanches, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident, breakdown of the vehicle, Any extra cost incurring thereof shall be borne by the clients on the spots. So it is most advisable for clients to have full insurance against medical and personal accident risk. Cancellation insurance is also the most recommended.
Cancellation Policy and terms and conditions
If you are unable to do the trip and want to cancel their program due to any unavoidable circumstances. The following charges will occur for the Trip Cancel.
(The 20 % trip booking amount is fully nonrefundable)
When making the final payment for the trip before it starts the day in our office No refund will give.
Program Change/Delay:
We can change the itinerary without notice due to unavoidable circumstances beyond our control like weather hazards, Landslides, political unrest, road blockage, avalanches, sudden sickness, etc. The program can customize as per the interest of the clients. Therefore if Above The Himalaya cancels your trip due to unavoidable circumstances like war, natural disasters, political unrest, bad climate, etc. AHT would be happy to refer you to an alternative trip of a similar standard. We keep it preserved for your next time but not longer than one year.
Price Changing: terms and conditions
We reserve the right to revise the pricing rate if posted in our marketing material and website, under any circumstances, or under the pressure of various external factors that are further than our control, for instance, changes in the exchange rate, government action, etc. Most of the time, Domestic flight fare is changing due to fuel price hike up. We always trying to give you a preset price for our treks/tours.
Passport and Visas:
All clients must have a valid passport with at least six months validity from the return date. Nepalese visas can obtain from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport. Nepalese visas cost is USD 30 for 15 days and USD 40 for 30 days to date.
Travel Insurance:
We suggest all our customers have a comprehensive travel insurance package. Their insurance must cover against medical, personal accident, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, loss of gears and natural calamity, theft of or damage to baggage and personal effects, etc
Refund Policy
The 20% of deposit amount for the trip is not refundable. After your full payment and arrival here,. If Above the Himalaya trekking cancels your trip because of due to unavoidable circumstances such as govt. Restriction, Landslide, road blockage, flood, political unrest, cancellation of the flight we will provide the alternative trip. If you don’t have the interest to make an alternative trip, we will decide on the cancellation of the trek on behalf of the client, and we are unable to refund any amount of the cash.
Flight delay:
Flight by plane and helicopter are prone to cancellations and delays for notorious weather in remote areas and some time operational complications which could be happened in particular in a trip to the Everest region Lukla flight, Annapurna region Jomsom flight, Dolpa, Simikot, and Jumla region, etc.
(Most of the Time Mountain flights are delaying without letting know us. The trip usually is 6:30 am in the morning, and you have to be at an airport at 6:am. But most of the time they are delaying more than an hour, if we go late they put the Second flight passengers on 6:30 am so, we need to be there at the flight time, prepare for this)
When these flights are considering in the itinerary. it is also recommending to carry extra money to buy food and accommodations in case of delays. Above The Himalaya Trekking will not be responsible for these additional expenses or costs arising from lost connections, so plan accordingly.
Trekking in the remote areas describing above, especially during the off season. We highly advise you e to reserve extra days to prepare for some delays and avoid frustrating consequences. if in case flight get canceled for the trek, you need to meet your accommodation, food costs by yourself
Note: Travel Insurance is highly recommending to take. In case of flight cancellation, if you are in short of time and are unable to catch your scheduled flight back in Kathmandu, Above the Himalaya trekking can charter a helicopter at your service. However, the cost should be borne by you, which can later claim through the insurance company.
