The best time to visit Everest Base Camp Heli Trek

Mountains have incredibly erratic and unpredictable weather. You can presently see a clean, gorgeous blue sky with a wide view of mountains, but it will shortly be cloudy. It often rains and snows heavily. Outside of the rainy season in June, July, and August, when the routes are muddy and the summits are hidden by clouds, is the less preferable time to visit Everest Base Camp.

The bare paths of winter, the exuberant flurry of spring, and the pleasant, verdant days of fall are all advantages of the other seasons. You may plan your vacation using month-by-month guidance and professional advice from us.

However, the end of the late-May to mid-September monsoon season is the best time to visit Everest Base Camp heli trek. The major trekking seasons, with relatively constant weather, clear views, and comfortable temperatures at Base Camp, are late September through early November and February through early May.

Nevertheless, in late April or early May, you could see groups of climbers at Base Camp getting ready for their ascents of Everest. But we recommend late November and early February, where temperatures is exceptionally low—around -15°C during the day and even lower at night—clear sky is often the norm, and quieter routes and teahouses add to the exciting sense of untamed remoteness.

Why is the Everest Base Camp Heli Trek special?

It is different as this package is for individuals who have very little time for exploring because it includes a short trip to Everest. One can take a helicopter from Gorekshep to Kathmandu rather than trekking all the way down to Lukla to catch a flight back. An all-inclusive trip to Kalapathar and the Everest base camp heli trek in only two weeks with sufficient preparations. Discover the finest substitute for the standard Everest Base Camp Trek.

You may skip taking the same trek back to Lukla since you will take a helicopter from Gorekshep to Kathmandu. In Lukla, you won’t have to worry about frequently canceled flights because of changeable weather. Above the Himalaya trekking handles all of the procedures for a hassle-free journey.
