The Monastery stands grandly on a mountain slope with colorful architecture. Explore Norbulinka Palace, which means ‘beautiful gardens’ in Tibetan. It is the summer palace of the Dalai Lama. Enjoy watching the monks debate the Buddhist scriptures at the serene Sera Monastery.

See the outstanding collection of ancient murals and statues. The Tibetans wrote scriptures with gold powder. View wonderful scroll paintings, tapestries, and Thangka. Visit the Jokhang Temple, a spiritual center of the Tibetan people.

I had a great three weeks in Nepal and Tibet, with a very tight schedule to make a trek in Nepal and a Jeep tour in Tibet. The trip was a big success with the help of Puru and his team from the moment we met at the airport till the moment we said goodbye.
