Altitude sickness in Kailash Mansarovar Yatra
Mount Kailash Parikrama sits at 4,500 meters above sea level. , whereas Mansarovar Lake lies at 4,590 meters. At such a high altitude, Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) is only
experienced by people.
But, the effects of AMS vary from person to person. Since some individuals only feel a slight or unnoticeable effect. At the same time, others experience a very strong one. Travelers need to practice yoga and take part in physical exercise.
