Mount Kanchenjunga

Height: 8,586 meters
Location: Taplejung District.

Kanchenjunga is lying at an altitude of 8586 meters and is called the third highest mountain in the world and in our popular Nepal climbing list. It lies in the Taplejung district in the Part of the Northern Kanchenjunga Himalayan range. The interesting fact about this area is that it was believed to be the highest mountain dating back to the period from 1838 until 1849.
