One night/2 days itinerary

Day 01: Pokhara will drive to Kande, hiking to the Australian Camp (1880m) and Dhampus (1650m)—about three and a half hours of hiking.

After breakfast, a 1-hour drive takes us to Kande, the starting point of this Annapurna easy trek. The trail starts from here to the Australian Camp; it is a kind and gentle climbing walk with a great view. It takes one hour and a half turn to reach Australian Camp from Kande.

Australian Camp is a beautiful, well-known village with an unobstructed view of the Himalayan Mountains of Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu range, and beautiful green hills on a clear day. We can have lunch and a short break here, take pictures, and trek to Dhampus.

The trail from Australian Camp to Dhampus is charming. We walk through the jungle. If about one one-hour downhill, the trail that takes you to Dhampus, a typical Nepali village, enjoys a great Mountain view on a  clear day.

Day 02: Dhampus hikes Phedi and drives back to Pokhara. It is about a 2/3 hour hike and 30 30-minute drive.

Today, we wake up early for the stunning sunrise view over the mountains and the fantastic Himalayan range. The Annapurna trail is an easy trek that descends to the central part of the Dhampus Valley, which is more than 500m above the ridge. Brahmins, Chettri, and a few Gurungs inhabit the area. Crossing the dirt road several times and stone staircases make the trail more adventuring. We will catch a private vehicle at Phedi and drive back to Pokhara.

Two night/3 days itinerary

Day 01 – Pokhara drive to Phedi and trek to Dhampus (1600m)

Take a 30-minute drive to the roadside shacks of Phedi to start the Annapurna easy trek. The start of the trail heads up the hill on a set of steps across the road. The central part of the Dhampus valley is on the top of the ridge, more than 500m above. Brahmins, Chettri, and a few Gurungs inhabit the area. Crossing the dirt road several times and stone staircases make the trail more adventuring. The spectacular panoramic view of the Annapurna Himalayan range makes your overnight stay more enjoyable.

Day 02 – Dhampus trekking to Sarangkot (1720m)

On our Annapurna easy trek, we wake up early for the stunning sunrise view over the mountains and the fantastic Himalayas range. The trail descends, crossing the Dhampus River, and again ascends gradually through the fields of Paddy and a small forest to Naudanda Village.

We have lunch here in this village and work 3 hrs through the Chettri and Brahmin villages to Sarangkot. It offers the highest possibilities for Himalayan panorama consisting of mighty peaks such as the Annapurna, Himalchhuli, Machhapuchhare, and Lamjung Himal. We can view Pokhara’s few lakes, nd, Seti River vall, ey, and other green hills best. Spend your overnight here.

Day 03 – Sarangkot sunrise view and short trekking down to Pokhara

We will wake you up in the early morning and hike to Sarangkot tower to witness the sunrise over the White Mountains of the Whole Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Ranges, including fishtail. After breakfast in the Hotel, we commenced our Annapurna easy trek down the hill to Pokhara. During this hike, we may see mountain views, local villages, local people, and the local lifestyle. The terrace of rice is lovely. We will have our lunch after we reach the beautiful city of Pokhara. We will have a leisurely walk over the streets the rest of the day and spend the night in the Hotel.
