Lessons of ‘Kindness: Transformation from Around the World.’ – Story of Purushotam Timalsena

Lessons of ‘Kindness: Transformation from Around the World.’ – Story of Purushotam Timalsena. With much honor, we proudly announce that our owner, Puru Timaslena’s story has been published in a Tway Huynh novel titled ‘Kindness: Transformation from Around the World.’ This fantastic book brings stories from around the world that make us believe that kindness does exist. In this era of cruelty, my life’s journey changed because I was shown the kindness of another human being, and hopefully, reading my story will inspire me to spread such kindness.
After nine years in development, Lessons of Kindness: Transformations from Around the World by Tway Huynh will be released this Fall. (Tway, a former client of the Above the Himalayas, trekked to Mt. Everest Base Camp for her 40th birthday.) This coffee table book features contributions from over seventy individuals who have generously shared their stories with the collective aim of spreading goodness across the globe.

Accompanied by photographs of heart-shaped rocks discovered along the California coastline in the USA, these authentic narratives highlight the quiet yet powerful acts of kindness happening all around us, rekindling our faith in humanity. Imagine, Chicken Soup for the Soul meets photographs of nature’s heartbeat.
In collaboration with Tway, I had an opportunity to contribute a story. Some of the other stories include:
Claude Elliott, former mayor of a small Canadian town, recounts how his community extended aid to nearly 7,000 people during the 9/11 attacks.
Julius Sweetland, a programmer based in the United Kingdom, created groundbreaking software to aid patients with MND/ALS and generously made it available to the world at no cost.
John, a former white supremacist, shares how he learned to release anger and blame, choosing to now live in a place of love for himself and others.
M. Lamontt Bowens, a former gang member, finds redemption following state and federal prison and achieves the goal of becoming an attorney.
Ocean Robbins, grandson of the Baskin-Robbins, shares how raising his children with autism has taught him true unconditional love, moving beyond the high-performance expectations of his family’s legacy.
Jennifer Rogers-Etcheverry, Will Rogers great-granddaughter, narrates how her mentor, Dr. Chuck Wall, initiated the Random Acts of Kindness movement worldwide.
Linda Scotson, a mother in England, puts aside her career as an artist to pursue a Ph.D. to heal her son of severe athetoid cerebral palsy.
To spread these messages of kindness and express my gratitude to all my clients, Tway has provided me with a unique discount code to share. Please use code PURU10 for 10% off (excluding eBooks).

GET TO KNOW THE AUTHOR Tway Huynh
Tway Huynh is a daughter, sister, aunt, niece, friend, creator, and optimist. Born overseas and educated in Southern California, her ever-evolving worldview has been influenced by her travels to Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Iceland, Jordan, Morocco, Nepal, Peru, Singapore, and Vietnam.
Her deep appreciation for cultures and customs underlies her belief that we are all one, even as we are each unique.
After experiencing burnout in corporate America, Tway returned to the California coast to nourish her soul.
After months of prayerfully seeking a sign that she was on the right path, she was led to find a naturally formed rock in the shape of a heart. Her discovery inspired this book of her photographs and the collected stories of invited contributors.
Tway hoped that Lessons of Kindness would change the lives of others, but she has come to understand that these stories first healed and transformed her. She lives north of San Diego, California, where heart-shaped rocks find her nearly everywhere she goes.
