Itinerary of Darjeeling Tour
Day 01 : Kathmandu to Darjeeling, transfer to hotel.
Flight to Bhadrapur and drive to Darjeeling (140km, 4 hrs) overnight in the hotel.
Day 02: Darjeeling Early morning tour to Tiger Hills
Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (at around 4 am) to view sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak. The view is spectacular on a clear weather day. On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. During the afternoon time we are giont to see the Rock Garden & Ganga Maya Lake Overnight in Hotel.
Day 03: Full day in Darjeeling
Today, visit Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (Closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing, Gumbo Rock site and Tibetan Refugee self-help (Closed on Sunday) Center Tea Estate. Overnight in hotel
Day 04: Darjeeling to Martam
Transfer to Martam (115 km /04 hrs. Overnight in hotel
Day 05: Martam to Gangtok
Early morning sightseeing of Rumtek Monastery and then proceed for the tour of Kanchenjunga View Point, Drul-Chorten, Sikkim Research Institute of Tibetology, and Handicraft and Handloom Center. Check-in the hotel — Evening Free to explore Gangtok.
Day 06: Full day in Gangtok
The morning we have a trip to Tshangu Lake and we suggest an early morning departure. It liest at the height of 3,780 m. With an average depth of 50 ft. The cold water of the lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. There is also a small temples on the lakeside, and beautiful flowers & Alpine vegetation grow around the lake.
Day 07: Gangtok to Pemayantse
Drive to Pemayangtse (135 km / 05 hrs). Check-in, the hotel. We leave for you in the evening visit to Pemayangtse Monastery. Overnight in hotel
Day 08: Pemayantse to Yuksom
Today after breakfast we will drive e to Yuksom on the way visit Khecheopari Lake. This lake is sacred Buddhist mountain lake beleived that your wish will come true if you make one in front of this lake.
There is a myth that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, a bird immediately picks it up. A further drive takes you to Yuksom – the meeting place of three monks and the first capital of Sikkim. This was the place where the first Chogyal (a ruling dynasty in Sikkim ) was crowned. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 09: Yuksom to Kalimpong
Drive to Kalimpong. (115 km / 04 hrs). Check-in the hotel. Evening you are free to explore the small hilly. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 10: Kalimpong to Kathmandu
Drive to Bhadrapur and flight to Kathmandu.
