Darjeeling lies in the north of the state of West Bengal and is situated in the foothills of the eastern Himalayas. Tiger Hill

The famous Tiger hill is 13 kilometers far from the main town at an altitude of 2590 meters (8482 ft.). This is a famous place to see on the Darjeeling tour. Lava & Loleygaon

Furthermore, another small place Loleygaon is another r24 km far from Lava lying at an altitude of 1,675 meters. It is the Darjeeling District of West Bengalis and has a small Lepcha village situated at an extreme end of a Himalayan Ridge. Thus, this place offers a magnificent view of the Mt.Kanchandzonga range. One can get closer to nature by walking on the canopy bridge in Loleygaon.

Visa & Permit for Sikkim travel

For Darjeeling and Sikkim tour, All foreigners other than Nepal and Bhutan nationals require a passport with an Indian visa prior to arrival. A trekking permit is required for every trekker for any areas of North-East India. For the trekking holiday, we need a minimum of two persons and maximum of 12 people.


Detailed Itinerary of Darjeeling Tour

Flight to Bhadrapur and drive to Darjeeling (140km, 4 hrs) overnight in the hotel.

Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (at around 4 am) to view sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak. The view is spectacular on a clear weather day. On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. During the afternoon time we are giont to see the Rock Garden & Ganga Maya Lake Overnight in Hotel.

Today, visit Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (Closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing, Gumbo Rock site and Tibetan Refugee self-help (Closed on Sunday) Center Tea Estate. Overnight in hotel

Transfer to Martam (115 km /04 hrs. Overnight in hotel

Early morning sightseeing of Rumtek Monastery and then proceed for the tour of Kanchenjunga View Point, Drul-Chorten, Sikkim Research Institute of Tibetology, and Handicraft and Handloom Center. Check-in the hotel — Evening Free to explore Gangtok.

The morning we have a trip to Tshangu Lake and we suggest an early morning departure. It liest at the height of 3,780 m. With an average depth of 50 ft. The cold water of the lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. There is also a small temples on the lakeside, and beautiful flowers & Alpine vegetation grow around the lake.

Drive to Pemayangtse (135 km / 05 hrs). Check-in, the hotel.  We leave for you in the evening visit to Pemayangtse Monastery. Overnight in hotel

Today after breakfast we will drive e to  Yuksom on the way visit Khecheopari Lake. This lake is  sacred Buddhist mountain lake beleived  that your wish will come true if you make one in front of this lake. There is a myth that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, a bird immediately picks it up. A further drive takes you to Yuksom – the meeting place of three monks and the first capital of Sikkim. This was the place where the first Chogyal (a ruling dynasty in Sikkim ) was crowned. Overnight in the hotel.

Drive to Kalimpong. (115 km / 04 hrs). Check-in the hotel. Evening you are free to explore the small hilly. Overnight in the hotel.

Drive to Bhadrapur and flight to Kathmandu.

How can i get to Sikkim?

You can fly to Bagdogra Airport in Siliguri(WB), then take the taxi to Gangtok. Alternatively, you can also drive by train to New Jalpaiguri then take the taxi to Gangtok. if you are traveling from Nepal you can take a flight to Bhadrapur cross the border and take a taxi.
