Batasia loop

Batasia Loop is an elevated railway made to lower the sloop of the Darjeeling Himalayan railway ascent. Ancient people built this loop to memorialize the Gokhale soldiers who had sacrificed their lives during the war. It is a railway loop where the toy train makes 360 degrees.

While walking this loop, you can get the perfect view of Darjeeling with Kangchenjunga and other mountains in the backdrop. Batasia Loop is also very popular for watching the Sunrise. Durpin Monastery

Durpin monastery is one of the oldest monsters in Darjeeling. Ancient Buddhist monks built this monastery in 1972. Mangal Dham

Dharmodhaya vihar

Dharmodhaya Vihar is a resident of the Buddhist monks of Nepal and India. Inside this Vihar is a library with books in various languages like Pali, Sanskrit, Nepali, Hindi, and English. There is the Sanskrit small idol of Lord Buddha. In the association of this vihar, there is a school nearby called Dharmodhaya School.
